The full trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League arrives in just two days, and the director behind the infamous #SnyderCut is teasing the shit out of it. Today he dropped a small bit of footage revealing the movie’s numero uno villain, Darkseid, along with his minions Desaad and the long-awaited first look at Granny Goodness!
In the short clip we see the Justice League team of Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman stepping into the Knightmare future and facing Darkseid’s army from Apokolips. By his side are the baddies DeSaad, who is Darkseid’s master torturer, and Granny Goodness, who despite her cheery name is anything but.
Just this scene alone gives you an idea how different Snyder’s 4 1/2-hour cut of the film is from the previous Joss Whedon-directed version. Darkseid was barely a factor at all, but here he’s front row and center.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League hits HBO Max on March 18th. Watch for the trailer to arrive on Valentine’s Day.
