Keke Palmer To Lead Jordan Peele’s Upcoming Horror, Daniel Kaluuya In Talks

There isn’t a lot that we know about Jordan Peele’s upcoming film, other than it will be a horror movie of some kind, similar to Get Out and Us, and it has a release date of July 22nd 2022. Other than that, the only thing we can confirm as of today is that Keke Palmer will be the star.

Deadline reports the Hustlers actress will star in Peele’s next film, which was introduced to us by Universal as a horror event title. It’s also beginning to look as if Palmer will be joined by Daniel Kaluuya, who is in negotiations for a role. That will mark a reunion between the actor and his Get Out director.

Collider chimes in to shoot down some reports of Jesse Plemons also being cast, but they say scheduling conflicts have put an end to that.

Palmer is wildly gifted, a multi-talented star of music, the screen, and stage who has been turning heads ever since she starred in Akeelah and the Bee back in 2006. Since then she’s starred in Joyful Noise, Imperial Dreams, Scream Queens, and her biggest role as Mercedes in the hit film, Hustlers. She actually appeared in an episode of Key & Peele making this a reunion, of sorts.
