Rumor: ‘Falcon And The Winter Soldier’ Has Cast Elijah Richardson As Patriot

It’s been pretty obvious that everything going on in the MCU points to the arrival of the Young Avengers. Every show coming up on Disney+ has a connection to a member of the junior team of heroes, and so this rumor about Falcon and the Winter Soldier comes as no surprise.

According to Murphy’s Multiverse (judge accordingly), Falcon and the Winter Soldier will see the introduction of Elijah Bradley aka the Young Avenger known as Patriot. Eli is the nephew of Josiah-X and the grandson of Isaiah Bradley, aka the black Captain America. After receiving an emergency blood transfusion from his grandfather, Eli gains powers similar to others who have survived the Super Soldier serum. He is eventually recruited into the Young Avengers by Iron Lad, who had been attempting to recruit Josiah.

There’s a chance that When They See Us actor Elijah Richardson has already been cast as Eli, to appear in a couple of episodes. We may also see Isaiah Bradley introduced into the MCU in the series, as well.

With Stature being recast for a bigger part in Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania, Kate Bishop arriving in Hawkeye, Wiccan and Speed teased for WandaVision, plus shows for LokiMs. Marvel, and Ironheart, Patriot has to be arriving one way or another and Falcon and the Winter Soldier makes the most sense.
