‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Will Arrive In 2021, But Just Barely

The penultimate season 2 episode of The Mandalorian aired today, with the finale set for next week. But already Disney and Lucasfilm are getting you ready for season 3, which will arrive in 2021…but just barely.

Season 3 of The Mandalorian will arrive around Christmas 2021, according to Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy during yesterday’s Disney conference.  That’s a bit later than we’ve seen for the previous two seasons, and means the show will last into 2022.

It’s obviously way too early to know anything about what to expect, but we can start to formulate some theories after Mando’s showdown with Moff Gideon next week. What will the fate of Grogu be when all is said and done? The answer will tell us a lot about what the next season will bring.
