New ‘WandaVision’ Trailer Puts Focus On Kathryn Hahn’s Reality-Warping Neighbor

So who is Kathryn Hahn’s mysterious character in WandaVision, anyway? In previous teasers, she’s been portrayed as the nosey neighbor to Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), but also like someone who may be trapped within this weird sitcom world.  But is that really the case? In the latest footage she appears to have a lot more power, a lot more agency, than previously revealed.

At one point in the trailer, Hahn is able to freeze everything going on around her. If the rumors she is playing the witch Agatha Harkness are true (she’s literally in a witch hat sometimes), this is the kind of thing she would definitely be able to do. In the comics, she’s integral to Wanda’s acceptance of her powers and the true power she wields. It wouldn’t be at all surprising if Harkness is secretly behind this entire TV break from reality that Wanda is in, and possibly even behind the return of Vision.

WandaVision hits Disney+ on January 15th and runs for eight episodes.
