Finally, we have some actual images from Coming 2 America and can stop using the same old ones from the original Eddie Murphy comedy.
Murphy, Arsenio Hall, James Earl Jones, and Shari Headley are back as the Zamundan Royal Family, in the sequel directed by Murphy’s Dolemite is my Name filmmaker, Craig Brewer. It also looks like Murphy and Hall will also be playing a host of other characters, including their popular barbers Clarence and Morris. Sadly, nothing of Murphy as Sexual Chocolate frontman Randy Watson, although we know that character is coming back, too.
SYNOPSIS: Set in the lush and royal country of Zamunda, newly-crowned King Akeem (Eddie Murphy) and his trusted confidante Semmi(Arsenio Hall) embark on an all-new hilarious adventure that has them traversing the globe from their great African nation to the borough of Queens, New York – where it all began.
