‘No Time To Die’ Pushed To Easter 2021

Looks like there’s more time to wait for No Time To Die. Once again the newest James Bond film has officially been pushed back due to Coronavirus concerns and current low box office numbers. It’s new date, April 2nd 2021, puts it almost exactly a year after it’s first date was pushed due to the Coronavirus. It’s most recent date was supposed to be November 20th.

MGM said this in a statement:

“MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, today announced the release of No Time To Die, the 25th film in the James Bond series, will be delayed until 2 April in order to be seen by a worldwide theatrical audience.  We understand the delay will be disappointing to our fans but we now look forward to sharing No Time To Die next year.”

We reported back in July that rumors were starting to spread about a possible 2021 release date. This could be a good thing in the long run as the studio needs to make back the film’s $250 million budget. However, this doesn’t really leave much to watch between Thanksgiving and Christmas, prime movie watching season. Wonder Woman and Dune still stand a chance, but with this current move who knows if the other supposed blockbusters follow suit.
