‘Halloween Kills’ Teaser: Michael Myers Kills Again Next Halloween

With no Comic-Con this year…well, at least not a good one, we’ve seen that holding targeted fan events can be a good way to hype upcoming projects. When done right, you get something like DC FanDome. And taking a page out of that book is Blumhouse, who launched Blumfest and are already making news coming out of it. Along with the info on Insidious 5, we now have a teaser for the anticipated sequel, Halloween Kills.

Originally due to open this month but delayed to next year because of COVID, Halloween Kills picks up moments after 2018’s Halloween, with Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode wary of Michael Myers’ return because clearly he ain’t dead.

David Gordon Green proved that his inexperience directing horrors wasn’t a drawback. He’s always been a diverse filmmaker, combining indie sensibilities with a mainstream streak, and that worked in his favor. Halloween Kills now opens on October 15th 2021, followed by the finale, Halloween Ends, on October 14th 2022.
