Adam Driver To Star in Mysterious Film ’65’ From Sam Raimi And ‘A Quiet Place’ Writers

Look at the list of directors Adam Driver has already had to work with: Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood, Spike Lee, Rian Johnson, Noah Baumbach, Terry Gilliam, Jim Jarmusch, Ridley Scott, Jeff Nichols, JJ Abrams, and that’s just the start.  That’s a list any actor would kill for, and now Driver can boast that Sam Raimi is the latest addition to it.

Deadline reports Driver will star in 65, a new feature from Sony Pictures that Sam Raimi will produce for writers/directors Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. They’re the duo who penned  2018’s massive horror hit A Quiet Place, and recently worked with Raimi on Quibi series 50 States of Fright.

As for story details? Well, there aren’t any yet. Sony is keeping this one under wraps so we can guess they have something really big planned.

Driver has a lot going on right now, so who knows when this will shoot. He still needs to finish up on Ridley Scott’s The Last Duel, and afterwards he’ll reteam with Scott on his Gucci assassination film with Lady Gaga. He’s also attached to Jeff Nichols’ next film, Yankee Comandante.
