Stephen King's 'Suffer The Little Children' Is Becoming A Movie Next

If you thought there were too many Stephen King adaptations before, wait until you see what happens now that It has shattered box office records. The latest of King's stories to get the big screen treatment is one of his earliest, as Sean Carter will bring Suffer the Little Children to theaters.

Carter, who recently made his debut with horror-thriller Keep Watching, will write and direct the film about third-grade teacher Emily Sidley, who comes to realize the children in her class are not what they seem, and only she can protect the town from their true nature.  The story was originally published in 1972 and as part of a collection in 1993.

Doubtful this film will reach It's success, but then it doesn't really need to. Just don't be a complete bomb like The Dark Tower was.
