Juliette Binoche & Andre Benjamin Find 'High Life', Joe Alwyn Joins 'Boy Erased'

Clair Denis' long-awaited sci-fi film High Life is moving right along, with Robert Pattinson and Mia Goth (A Cure for Wellness) headlining. But now there have been a couple of high-profile additions, the first being Juliette Binoche, who recently worked with Denis on Let the Sunshine In. The second is surprising, as Outkast's Andre Benjamin, who last starred as Jimi Hendrix in Jimi: All Is By My Side, is also on board. The film centers on a group of skilled criminals who agree to be part of a government-sponsored mission to find alternate energy sources while also part of a human reproduction experiment in space. Patricia Arquette had been announced as part of the cast, too, but she seems to have fallen off. Perhaps Binoche took her spot? [Variety]

Joel Edgerton's Boy Erased has begun filming in Atlanta, and the already impressive cast has been rounded out with the addition of Joe Alwyn. The Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk star joins Lucas Hedges, Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe, Edgerton himself, Xavier Dolan, Flea, Cherry Jones, and more in the story of a Baptist preacher's son who is outed as gay to his parents. He is then given an ultimatum: either enroll in a gay conversation therapy program or be ostracized by his family, faith, and friends.
