'All The Money In The World' Trailer: Kevin Spacey Transforms Into J. Paul Getty

Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant disappointed at the box officer earlier this year, putting the continuation of that franchise in jeopardy. And while he has Blade Runner 2049 which he produced, his latest project as director, All the Money in the World, has him back in the Oscars discussion for the first time since 2015's The Martian. Actually, that's not such a long time. Maybe Scott should stop with the franchises, period.

The latest trailer for the crime drama shows the transformation Kevin Spacey underwent to become J. Paul Getty, the stubborn oil tycoon who refused to pay the ransom to save his kidnapped grandson, despite his daughter's pleas. Charlie Plummer plays the kidnapped J. Paul Getty III, with Michelle Williams as his anguished mother and Mark Wahlberg as FBI negotiator Fletcher Chase.

All the Money in the World has a prime awards season slot on December 8th.
