The smash hit Marvel series continues in this latest cosmic adventure. Picking up where the first film left off, Volume 2 follows the Guardians as they continue to travel the galaxies as defenders and guns for hire. Along their journey they finally meet Peter Quill’s (Chris Pratt) long lost father (Kurt Russel) who seems to have mysterious secrets of his own.

We Said: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 wanders, but that doesn't mean it's lost. [Writer/Director James] Gunn has a lot to say about the families we are born with and those we choose, a theme that's likely to carry on to the inevitable sequel. Of course there will be a sequel. Fans would riot if there wasn't, and Gunn has done a pretty good job of giving the fans everything they could want while telling a story that builds on what came before. Most of all, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is summer blockbuster fun done the Marvel way.” Rating: 3.5 out of 5

AMC’s massively popular zombie survival show returns more brutal than ever. Season Seven not only reveals the cliffhanger question of who Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed, but follows its fallout, as the Survivors are rocked to their very core and must reluctantly serve their new vicious leader. Of course Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) won’t stay down for long, and soon an all out war begins to build for control of their forged community.

In the second season of the DC Comics adventure series, Kara (AKA Supergirl) and her team face a whole host of new problems. Not only does the powerful LuthorCorps’ Project Cadmus build power and threaten the future of Metropolis, but a near  constant string of extraterrestrial threat put earth in jeopardy too, and its up to Kara to stop them. Adding to the drama is Mon-El, a survivor and prince from Krypton's neighboring planet Daxam, who’s interested in Kara for more than just her powers.
