David Oyelowo Joins 'Chaos Walking', Melissa Leo & Bill Pullman Return For 'The Equalizer 2'

Doug Liman's anticipated adaptation of Patrick Ness's book, Chaos Walking, keeps getting better. Already featuring a cast that includes Tom Holland, Daisy Ridley, Mads Mikkelsen, Nick Jonas, Kurt Sutter, and Demian Bichir, the film has now added Selma star David Oyelowo. He'll play Aaron, a military man who also serves as the story's villain. The film takes place on New World, where everyone has been infected by a virus that projects every single thought in a stream of images, words, and sounds. Chaos Walking opens March 1st 2019. Details remain scarce on The Equalizer 2, probably because not a whole lot will change. It'll still be Antoine Fuqua directing Denzel Washington's killing of a ton of bad guys, right? The cast mostly remains intact, too, with Deadline reporting that Melissa Leo and Bill Pullman are coming back to play Susan and Brian Plummer. The Plummers are old friends from Robert McCall's days as a Black Ops agent. Pedro Pascal is on board to play the sequel's villain. The Equalizer 2 opens September 14th 2018.
