Paul Bettany Is A Domestic Terrorist In Discovery's 'Manhunt: Unabomber' Trailer

There may already be a feature film on the way starring Viggo Mortensen as domestic terrorist the Unabomber, but Discovery is going to beat it to the punch by a long way. And based on the cast they've assembled for the eight-episode event series, we may not need a big screen take at all.

Manhunt: Unabomber stars Paul Bettany as Ted Kaczynski, a former teacher who launched a 17-year bombing campaign, mostly through letter bombs, that he vowed wouldn't end until his manifesto was shared with the world. The film will follow the FBI's lengthy attempts to discover his true identity then track him down, aided in part by his brother David, played by Mark Duplass. Sam Worthington is FBI agent James "Fitz" Fitzgerald, who urged the agency to look at the case differently than the profile suggested.   Chris Noth, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Jane Lynch, Michael Nouri, Brian d’Arcy James , Trieste Kelly Dunn, Elizabeth Reaser, Ben Weber, Jeremy Bobb, Lynn Collins and Brian F. O’Byrne co-star.

Manhunt: Unabomber debuts August 1st on Discovery.
