Transformers: The Last Knight is the fifth film in Michael Bay and Paramount's multi-billion dollar franchise, and at least the third since Bay started talking about leaving. Once again he's saying this will his last, although he does seem to like one of the many ideas cooked up in the writer's room, but frankly I'll believe it when Transformers 6 rolls and his name isn't at the top of it. So what kind of insanity has he got cooked up for his "final" movie? Some Arthurian legend, Nazis, and a little thing called "robot dementia."
A new clip dropped last night at the MTV Movie Award and it's not the most action-packed footage we've seen. But it does give us a look at what in the heck Anthony Hopkins will be doing, which is basically explaining a bunch of stuff to Mark Wahlberg who looks...well, he always looks a little bit confused. Then again I'd be confused if Hopkins was jabbing his finger and calling me "dude", too. And what's with Hot Rod being French? That's just weird.
Wahlberg and Hopkins are joined by Isabela Moner, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Laura Haddock, Jerrod Carmichael, and Santiago Cabrera. And Bumblebee. Transformers: The Last Knight opens June 21st, having been bumped up a couple days.
