It should come as no surprise that the Chinese trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story features more footage of Hong Kong superstar, Donnie Yen. It's the way Hollywood movies go nowadays with promos cut for specific audiences. Otherwise there's only a little bit here that hasn't already been seen, and if you haven't seen anything from the film yet then count yourself lucky.
Yen plays blind warrior monk Chirrut Îmwe who believes in the Force as a religion, and not just a way to deflect blaster bolts from incompetent Stormtroopers. He's joined by Felicity Jones, Riz Ahmed, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Alan Tudyk, Forest Whitaker, and Jiang Wen in the story detailing how the rebels stole those crucial Death Star plans.
Directed by Gareth Edwards, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens December 16th.
