It's late in the year and as I've begun compiling my favorite movies and performances of the year, one that keeps popping up is Gillian Jacobs in the improv comedy, Don't Think Twice. She probably won't get recognized for it, but the talented actress has impressed me so much over the years that any film she's attached to I'm going to watch. And that now includes Disney's Magic Camp.
Variety reports Jacobs has joined Adam DeVine and Jeffrey Tambor in the Disney comedy about a former magic camp counselor who returns in order to revive his failing career. It takes a group of ragtag kids to help him find inspiration again. Jacobs will play DeVine's ex-partner while Tambor is the mentor and camp owner.
Mark Waters (Mean Girls) is directing with filming to begin in December.
