Vader Looms In New 'Rogue One' Poster; Trailer Debuts Tomorrow

The wait is almost over. It's been way too long since we had a new trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and tomorrow that finally changes. But before that we have this brand new trailer that features all of the principle characters...and the ominous presence of Darth Vader.

Vader looms over the cast in this image, casting a shadow that will certainly blanket everything that happens in the standalone film. It takes place while the Rebels are attempting to secure the plans to destroy the Death Star, and they will indeed run into the former Anakin Skywalker in the process. How big the villain's role will be is unclear, probably more like a cameo, but a little bit goes a long way.

We also see Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, Ben Mendelsohn as bad guy Orson Krennic, Alan Tudyk as android K-S2O, Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera, Donnie Yen as Chirrut Imwe, Riz Ahmed as Bodhi Rook, and Jiang Wen as Baze Malbus. Beneath them is a shot of what may be the centerpiece battle on Scarif.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens December 16th. Look for the new trailer tomorrow morning!
