First 'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2' Teaser Is Hooked On A Feeling...Again

So Marvel basically decided, "What the heck?" and dropped the first footage from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 mere moments after the distinctive poster debuted. And it was a smart decision because combined they tell us one thing in particular: everything that made the first movie great is coming back.

From the quirky collection of classic pop hits, yes the "Ooga Chaka" returns, to the uncomfortable but hilarious relationship between Star-Lord, Drax, Gamora, Rocket, and Baby Groot. It's all seen and heard here. What we still don't know is anything about the plot. We see Gamora (Zoe Saldana) on the attack, Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and a newly-mohawked Yondu (Michael Rooker) hanging out, Nebula (Karen Gillan) captured, while Drax (Dave Bautista) offers Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) some terrible dating advice.

Cool characters, vintage soundtrack, and offbeat sense of humor. Check, check, and check.  Written and directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 opens May 5th 2017. Oh, and in case you thought this was all we're going to get, Gunn promises this is not the trailer. That's something totally different. Oooh boy.
