There's been a change at the top of the next movie by The Amazing Spider-Man's Marc Webb. Miles Teller had been set to star in the film formerly known as The Only Living Boy in New York, but with his scheduling commitments piling up it's created an opportunity for rising star Callum Turner.
Variety reports Turner has taken over the lead role. Turner may be familiar for his performance in Green Room, or for his breakout turn in Queen & Country. Webb is directing from a screenplay by Allan Loeb that centers on a young man who becomes involved with the same woman his overbearing father has been having an affair with. Jeff Bridges has been in talks for the father role but it doesn't look as if he's signed yet.
Amazon Studios will distribute once everything is complete, but as of now there's no start date. Webb's next film is Gifted starring Chris Evans, while Turner is at TIFF for Adam Leon's Tramps.
