Daisy Ridley And Elizabeth Debicki Join 'Peter Rabbit', 'Pacific Rim' Sequel Adds Two

Revealed just last month, the upcoming live-action/animated adaptation of Peter Rabbit continues to land some big time talent. James Corden and Rose Byrne were the first to board the film then, and now Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Daisy Ridley and The Great Gatsby's Elizabeth Debicki have joined them. Will Gluck (Easy A) is directing the film based on Beatrix Potter's classic children's book about the bunny in the blue jacket who keeps sneaking into Mr. McGregor's garden. Corden will voice Peter Rabbit while Byrne will take the female lead role of Bea. [Variety]

With Pacific Rim 2 already having cast John Boyega, Cailee Spaeny, Scott Eastwood, and Jing Tian, the film continues to line up more potential Jaeger pilots. The latest additions are Levi Maeden (Aftermath) and Adria Arjona (Emerald City), in roles that have yet to be made clear. At this point it doesn't look like any of the original cast will be returning, just as original director Guillermo Del Toro has given way to Steven S. DeKnight. Pacific Rim 2 opens February 23rd 2018.
