Jared Leto has been pretty chatty about his disappointment in Suicide Squad, in particular the Joker scenes that got cut from the movie. He's even gone so far as to suggest he was "tricked" into starring in the superhero film. Of course, he hasn't actually seen the final cut so his comments are kinda silly. Anyway, that isn't stopping him from signing on to another potential blockbuster, as Variety reports Leto is joining the Blade Runner sequel.
Leto joins Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Mackenzie Davis, Robin Wright and Lennie James in the Denis Villeneuve-directed sequel to Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic. Details on the story are still a secret and so is Leto's role, and we probably won't learn anything solid for a while yet.
So here's hoping Leto is happy with the amount of scenes he gets. Blade Runner 2 opens October 6th 2017.
