Angelina Jolie Departs 'Murder On The Orient Express' Remake

Kenneth Branagh's remake of Murder On the Orient Express just lost its highest-profile passenger. Angelina Jolie, who seemed like a perfect fit for the prestige flick, has dropped out of negotiations, but a new A-lister may be ready to book passage.

Variety says Charlize Theron is on the list of potential replacements, as producers obviously want to keep that star-wattage up to a high level. Other top actresses are apparently on the list, and they'll be joining what is likely to be a powerful, star-studded ensemble.

With a release date set for November 2017 it won't be long before 20th Century Fox stamps the ticket for a new star.
