Earlier this year Rachel Weisz could be found in The Lobster, one of the weirdest romances you're likely to ever see. Now she may be turning her attention to something more traditional, playing poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning in biopic, The Last Romantics.
The Tracking Board has news of the potential deal, which would have Weisz playing the Victorian-era poet who enters into a passionate, tumultuous relationship with fellow writer, Robert Browning. There's no director attached but the original spec script was penned by rising star screenwriter, Janet Dulin Jones, who wrote the TV adaptation of What if God were the Sun?
The Oscar-winning actress will be seen next in The Light Between Oceans with Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander.
