WWE Superstar Seth Rollins Has A Role In 'Sharknado: The 4th Awakens'

It's been a rough few days for WWE superstar Seth Rollins.  The former WWE World Champion returned from injury to defeat his arch-rival Roman Reigns to reclaim the gold, only to have it stolen away moments later by Dean Ambrose. Tough break for "The Architect", but there's some good news in that he also has his biggest film role to date in SyFy's Sharknado: The 4th Awakens.

According to a studio press release, Rollins will be part of the cameo-filled cast of the fourth Sharknado film, taking the role of AstroTech Lopez, which is a play on his real name, Colby Lopez. He joins Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, David Hasselhoff, Ryan Newman, Gary Busey, Cheryl Tiegs, and Tommy Davidson in the ridiculous franchise, which has featured pro wrestlers Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho in prior films.  This is the second major film role for Rollins who is also shooting the action movie Temple alongside Wesley Snipes and Anne Heche.

Sharknado: The 4th Awakens hits SyFy on July 31st, and if it has Rollins curb-stomping a Sharknado it will be the greatest thing ever.
