Scooby-Doo and the superstars of the WWE really need to stop meeting like this. A couple of years ago the animated pooch was featured in Scooby-Doo! Wrestlemania Mystery; guess what that was about? Now another mystery plagues Vince McMahon's roster of rasslers in Scooby-Doo! and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon, and pretty soon someone is going to have to point the finger at John Cena. Nobody can be that much of a boyscout unless they're hiding something truly sick.
The animated film will feature cartoon versions of The Undertaker, Triple H, Paige, Sheamus, Mr. McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Lana, Rusev, The Miz, Los Matadores, Kofi Kingston, Stardust, and Goldust. Out of all of these superstars one is no longer on the roster, two have been repackaged back to their old selves, and one is currently starring as a mutant rhino in a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. The plot sounds like a stretch even for WWE standards as it involves a phantom terorrizing an off-road racing competition. As "Stone Cold" Steve Austin might say: "What!?"
Scooby-Doo and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon will hit DVD, Blu-Ray, and Digital HD on August 9th.
