You may recall in the days prior to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's debut, word began to leak out about the positive response it got in test screenings. The same thing happened with Captain America: Civil War. Obviously, those two films took vastly different paths once they actually opened, so gauging anything based on the response from a random panel of folks probably isn't the best thing. However, Yahoo! says the early buzz on Suicide Squad has been pretty good, and if Warner Bros. wants to keep their DCU alive they better hope that continues well into the summer.
New photos centering on DC's team of expendable supervillain assets have emerged from Cinema Teaser, and they show off Margot Robbie's already-popular lunatic Harley Quinn, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Jared Leto's grinning Joker, Will Smith as Deadshot, and Joel Kinnaman as field leader Rick Flagg. Is there any chance Flagg can keep these guys and gals in line? What would be the fun in that?
Directed by David Ayer, Suicide Squad opens August 5th.
