Fear The Dark In New Extended Trailer For 'Lights Out' Starring Teresa Palmer

There has been a lot of strong buzz for horror Lights Out,and only part of it has to do with the effectively creepy trailers. The other reason is The Conjuring 2, Insidious, and Furious 7 director James Wan, whose name has become synonymous with high quality genre flicks. He's only here as a producer with David F. Sandberg making his directorial debut, but Wan giving the film his stamp of approval is a good sign.

A new extended trailer has arrived and it's enough to make you want to use a night light. Teresa Palmer, Gabriel Bateman (Annabelle), and Maria Bello star in the film about a family terrorized by an evil spirit that can only be seen when the lights go out. It's a simple premise but fear is the simplest, most primal emotion there is.

Lights Out hits theaters on July 22nd.
