Moira Returns In First Clip From 'X-Men: Apocalypse', See The Team In Their New Costumes

With X-Men: Apocalypse shaping up to be the finale of the trilogy X-Men: First Class started, some old favorites are returning to be part of the action. Sorry, no White Queen or Azazel appearances, folks. They're still dead. But it does bring back Rose Byrne as Charles Xavier's longtime associate, Moira MacTaggert, and in the first clip she has some vital information on the X-Men's new foe.

Joining Byrne and James McAvoy in this scene is Lucas Till who returns as Alex Summers aka Havok. He appears to have an expanded role after being pushed to the sidelines in X-Men: Days of Future Past, and the timing is interesting now that his brother Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) has been reintroduced. Could we see a Summers Brothers reunion?

Speaking of Cyclops, the future X-Men leader is seen decked out in his new costume in this image that appeared on Reddit. The photo shows the entire team in outfits that resemble their comic book counterparts, making this the first time any of the movies (other than Deadpool) have done so. Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee) looks especially authentic, which is incredibly cool. Too bad we'll never get Wolverine in his classic blue and gold costume.

X-Men: Apocalypse opens May 27th.
