It's time to start getting used to the name Ana de Armas. The actress isn't a household name yet, but after starring with Keanu Reeves in last year's thriller, Knock Knock, she's lining up an impressive string of roles. Not only will she be seen in the Roberto Duran biopic Hands of Stone, but she has a role in Todd Phillips' crime flick, War Dogs.So what's next? How about her first blockbuster studio movie?
The actress has joined Denis Villeneuve's Blade Runner sequel, which we know will star Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright and Dave Bautista. No word on her role just yet, which isn't a surprise considering story details are under wraps. What we do know is the screenplay by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green sets the action ten years after Ridley Scott's 1982 classic.
Blade Runner 2 opens October 6th 2017.
