While the fanboy crowd is ready for what the summer season has to bring, namely Captain America: Civil War and Suicide Squad, a different set of fans are clamoring for something a little more romantic. For them, the arrival of Me Before You couldn't come soon enough as the adaptation of Jojo Moyes' best-selling book is already drawing comparisons to The Fault In Our Stars by exploring a love that blossoms in the midst of physical ailment.
Penned by The Fault In Our Stars writers Michael H. Weber and Scott Neustadter, the film stars Emilia Clarke as Louisa, a quirky caregiver to Will, a wealthy patient paralyzed after an accident. No longer able to be the adventurous spirit he used to be, Will is ready to give up, until Lou gives him a reason to live. And like the previous trailers, this one pretty much gives away the entire story, perhaps even more of it, but this looks like the kind of film that could be a surprising summer hit.
Get ready to turn on the waterworks when Me Before You opens June 3rd.
