New 'Deadpool' Super Bowl Spot Scores A Touchdown

If the marketing for Deadpool has shown us anything it's that the R-rated film isn't going to play by the usual rules. So it should come as no surprise the Super Bowl TV spot for the highly anticipated flick is available now before the kickoff.  Know what else is available right now? My review, which you can check out here.

Ryan Reynolds stars as the twisted mutant merc, a survivor of the same program that created Wolverine, only Deadpool's healing factor comes with a few more side effects. Morena Baccarin plays his lover, Vanessa, Ed Skrein as Ajax, TJ Miller as Deadpool's pal, Weasel, Gina Carano is Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand and Stefan Kapicic as the X-Men Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus, and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al. Here's the synopsis:

"Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life."

Deadpool opens February 12th, directed by Tim Miller.
