So two guys who don't really know squat about that thug life are forced to go undercover as gangsters, with hilariously disastrous and chaotic results. That might sound like a pretty good setup for a comedy sketch or, at best, a pretty forgettable spring movie. But when the duo behind it are Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele then the expectations for laughs just launched to a whole new level, and that's why for many Keanu is one of the year's most anticipated films.
After the red band trailer hit last month, a tamer green band version has arrived. The comedy team play straight-laced cousins who must turn gangsta in order to track down their beloved cat, Keanu. Presumably he's named after Keanu Reeves, and we can only hope the John Wick star makes a cameo at some point. And there's gotta be a Liam Neeson appearance, too, right?
Also starring Method Man, Jason Mitchell, Will Forte, Nia Long, Tiffany Haddish, and Luis Guzman, Keanu opens April 22nd.
