Steve Carell Goes 'Euro Style', Priyanka Chopra Dives Into 'Baywatch', Jada Pinkett Smith Joins the 'Bad Moms'

With his performance in The Big Short earning him all kinds of awards attention, Steve Carell is busy looking ahead to what's next. According to The Tracking Board he'll produce and star in Euro Style, a comedy penned by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa who worked with Carell on Crazy Stupid Love. The film is said to have an Old School vibe and center on "a 40-something guy who reunites with his old college friends to take the European vacation that he never had in his youth." No word on when this will shoot or if Ficarra and Requa will direct the film themselves.

Baywatch continues to add more heavenly bodies to its gorgeous cast with former Miss World pageant winner and Quantico star Priyanka Chopra. She joins Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, and Kelly Rohrbach in the big screen comedy based on the TV series. This will mark the first big American feature role for Chopra who has a list of Bollywood credits a mile long. The story centers on a team of elite lifeguards who must join with a hot-headed Olympian (played by Efron) to protect their beloved beach from the villain, played by Chopra. [THR]

Jada Pinkett Smith and Kathryn Hahn have been cast in the comedy formerly known as Bad Moms, which stars Christina Applegate, Mila Kunis, and Kristen Bell. Written and directed by The Hangover scribes Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, the story centers on three mothers who shed their responsibilities for some freedom and indulgence, earning the ire of the PTA and a clique of "perfect" moms. Hahn is one of the rowdy trio, while Smith is best friend to the head of the PTA (Applegate). [Deadline]
