New 'Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice' Extended Footage Debuts

With a Suicide Squad trailer, Wonder Woman footage, and loads of Justice League art, it may be easy to forget that there's still Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice coming in just a couple of months. Doesn't seem quite as exciting against all of that new stuff, does it? Well there's a little something new for it, too, in the form of footage debuted during CW's Dawn of the Justice League special. Just don't bother looking for Aquaman or Cyborg, two heroes that are expected to be fit into the film somewhere. Here's the synopsis:

"Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before."

Directed by Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, and Laurence Fishburne, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens March 25th.
