At this point J.C. Chandor has earned our trust, delivering incredibly diverse films such as Margin Call, All is Lost, and A Most Violent Year. So whatever he's going to do is worth keeping an eye on, including his latest project, a remake of German film, The Robber.
Originally set up at Sony a few years ago but now housed at FilmNation, the English-language remake centers on Johann Rettenberger, a champion marathon runner who doubled as a bank robber, earning him the nickname "Pump-Gun Ronnie". Chase Palmer is providing the screenplay.
Next up for Chandor is Triple Frontier, so presumably this would be next on his list. [Variety]
