The New 'Ghostbusters' Won't Be Facing Your Average Everyday Ghosts

Given what we know about Paul Feig, would anybody be surprised if his new Ghostbusters were taking on an all boys' club in the scientific community? Well, that does seem to be the case, but Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon will be taking on their male foes in a more supernatural way, as well. EW has released a new badass image from the film showing the ladies charging into action, and they've added a description of the types of ghosts they'll be busting....

“Dead criminals from all eras of New York’s underbelly past have returned to roost among the living in Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot. Pilgrims, old-timey sailors, Revolutionary War spirits, and even a couple of zoot-suited gangsters are ready to take on four formidable female busters looking to rid the city of its phantasmic filth."

Hopefully all of these images released lately mean a trailer is right around the corner. Ghostbusters opens July 15th 2016.
