First 'Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them' Trailer Goes Back To The Wizarding World

Are you ready to return to the wizarding world of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter? Let's be honest, there's been a magical void left by the conclusion of the franchise back in 2011, but Warner Bros., Rowling, and 'Potter' director David Yates are ready to fill it with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which has just conjured up its first glorious trailer.

Starring Eddie Redmayne as famed magizoologist Newt Scamander, the story is set way before the birth of the boy wizard, 1926 Manhattan to be exact.  It's then that Scamander arrives with a suitcase full of extraordinary creatures that somehow manage to escape into a world that isn't so tolerant of wizards or anything magical.  This footage sets up the basic plot and also gives us a glimpse at Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice) as Scamander's love, Porpentina. The film also stars Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Samantha Morton, Colin Farrell, and more.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens November 16th 2016.
