Sundance's 2016 Midnight Lineup Includes Kevin Smith's 'Yoga Hosers', Rob Zombie's '31', and More

Oh boy. It's that time of year again. While the bulk of the attention will be focused on the year "Best of" lists and awards nominations, it's also time to look forward just a few weeks after when Park City hosts the Sundance Film Festival. As you all know it's my favorite time being out there, and today my anticipation has kicked up a notch as the first wave of Midnight movies have been released.

While the Midnight lineup of genre films aren't always what I cotton to, there are a few that have caught my eye. First is Kevin Smith's Yoga Hosers, marking his return to Sundance since the..uhhhh, interesting debut of Red State. The film stars Smith's daughter as well as Johnny Depp's daughter, plus Justin Long and Depp himself.

Rob Zombie will unveil his latest horror, 31, which I'm interested in because it co-stars Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, who some will know from the urban classic, Cooley High! Plus there's Antibirth, a wild psychological film starring Natasha Lyonne, Chloe Sevigny, and Mark Webber. Count me in for that one.

The list of revealed titles is below. The Sundance Film Festival runs from January 21st-31st.
