Diane Lane and Jason Bateman Board Watergate Thriller, 'Felt'

Casting on Peter Landesman's Watergate thriller, Felt, is moving along much faster than the time it took Deep Throat to reveal himself. With Liam Neeson on board to play Mark Felt aka Deep Throat, Diane Lane and Jason Bateman have joined what is shaping up to be a very impressive cast.

Lane, who can be seen this week in Trumbo opposite Bryan Cranston, will play Felt's troubled and ambitious wife, Audrey. Bateman will play FBI agent Charlie Bates, one of Felt's closest colleagues who discovers that his mentor is leaking sensitive information on the Watergate scandal to the Washington Post. Bates is torn as to whether he should turn him in.

Landesman, whose drama Concussion opens later this year, will begin shooting on Felt next March.
