Sure Shots: Tom Felton; Antje Traue; Carrie-Anne Moss

* He'll probably always be recognized as Harry Potter's cowardly nemesis Draco Malvoy, but Tom Felton has done a pretty good job of moving on past the long-running franchise. He'll next join Garret Dillahunt (Looper) and Jake Abel (The Host) for WWII thriller Ghosts of the Pacific. American Film Company president Brian Falk will direct the film, which tells the true story of a three Navy airmen stranded in the South Pacific Ocean after their plane crashes. Felton will play bombardier Tony Pastula, while Dillahunt and Abel are pilot Harold Dixon and radioman Gene Aldrich. Production is set to begin later this month.

* Already having snagged a role as General Zod's gal Faora in Man of Steel, Antje Traue is moving on to another superpowered hero's story. Brett Ratner took to Twitter to excitedly announce Traue for his upcoming Hercules film, which stars Dwayne Johnson as the Greek demigod. Based on Steve Moore's comic Hercules: The Thracian Wars, the film has Hercules and his six colleagues training the King of Thrace's army to be the greatest fighting force ever. Traue's role is unclear, but based on my reading on the comic she would be a perfect fit for the huntress, Atalanta. She joins Rufus Sewell, Ian McShane, Joseph Fiennes, and John Hurt, co-starring in the film on July 25th 2014.

* The Matrix and Memento star Carrie-Anne Moss has joined Paul W.S. Anderson's disaster flick, Pompeii, which was recently picked up by FilmDistrict and given a February 28th 2014 release date. Kit Harington plays a slave who must rescue his lover Flavia (Emily Browning) and best friend (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbage) from a ruthless tyrant during the famous eruption that leveled the city.  Jared Harris, Jessica Lucas, and Kiefer Sutherland co-star.
