1st look at Wang Xueqi as Dr. Wu in 'Iron Man 3'

So in September we learned that Wang Xueqi(Yellow Earth), who some like to call the Sean Connery of China, had joined Iron Man 3, presumably as Dr. Chen Lu aka the Radioactive Man. Not a totally weird character to add into the mix, considering he's a well-known Chinese character and the film is being co-financed and filmed there. But it wasn't totally accurate as we found out today Xueqi is actually playing a new character named Dr. Wu, and now we have our first looks at him in action. Or inaction, as it were.

With production set to pick up again in Beijing, a pair of new photos have been released by Marvel and China's DMG Entertainment, showing Dr. Wu having a rather serious-looking conversation with Pepper Potts(Gwyneth Paltrow) and James Rhodes(Don Cheadle), presumably about an injured Tony Stark. The other shot is just a set shot of Xueqi looking chummy with Robert Downey Jr.

Xueqi was most recently seen here in the excellent period action/drama, Sacrifice(review here). It's kind of sad that he's only now getting some Hollywood love, albeit in what's been called a very minor role, but he'll still make for a solid addition to the Iron Man 3 ensemble.
