Michael Fassbender added to Terrence Malick's upcoming music industry drama
That busy beaver Terrence Malick just recently wrapped up filming on Knight of Cups, the first of two films he had set for this year. The other one, formerly known as Lawless before he let John Hillcoat use the title, stars much of the same cast including Christian Bale, Rooney Mara, Cate Blanchett, Haley Bennett, Ryan Gosling, Natalie Portman, and the newly added Holly Hunter. But that's hardly enough superstar talent, and the latest to be spotted on set is none other than the red hot Michael Fassbender.
Fassbender was captured in this fuzzy image, opposite Ryan Gosling no less. How's that for a duo, ladies? The film is set against the backdrop of Austin's music industry(as we saw in those early test shots), and follows a pair of intersecting love triangles full of sexual obsession and betrayal. It's unclear just how big his role will be, or if he'll share any screen time with Portman, who he'll be joining later in Lynne Ramsay's western, Jane Got a Gun.
Shooting should be wrapped up on Steve McQueen's Twelve Years a Slave, so we'll likely see Fassbender in that next. Then he'll done the big bucket helmet of Magneto for X-men: Days of Future Past. [BrownGirlsLoveFassy]
