WHOA! I had no idea Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas was playing Vega in the new Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li. Thanks to John over at TheMovieBlog for the pic, however I have to disagree with his thoughts that Vega looked great for the job. Unless I'm mistaken Vega wore the mask to protect his 'Perfect' face, Taboo is far from this he's honestly just a weird looking dude. That being said I think they made the right decision including Vega in the movie as he's always been the underground faviorite and most interesting character by far. His mask looks pretty badass as well. The only thing I wonder is how much of the stunts Vega does are being done by Taboo, if I remember correctly he's a pretty acrobatic guy.

As for Vega, this is a bad call Ripley. A bad call. Not only does he not have the look for Vega, but he won't have the menacing accent that made Vega seem so much more dangerous. I once again point to the amazing Vega vs. Chun-Li battle from the SF animated movie, and tell me that Vega isn't terrifying.
