According to 'Variety' Universal has hired a writer and director, Ethan Coen and Kevin Lima respectively, for an upcoming screen adaptaion of Candyland everyone's favorite childhood game. On the surface I thought this was a stupid idea but really when you think about it couldn't this be Narnia meets Willy Wonka? Actually sounds like a cool idea especially in the world of kid's movies. I can't help but to think of that episode of The Simpsons where Homer is trapsing around in a world of candy eating everything in site.

yeah this might actually be kind of interesting. Like you said, Narnia meets Willy Wonka. I'd go watch the movie just because I use to love that game.
